Terms of sale

These terms apply to everything paid for on GoDigit: community plans, courses, lives, workshops, classes, ebooks and books, and GoDigit Plus.

Prices and service fee

  • The creator sets their price in the currency of their choice (CFA franc, euro, dollar, naira, cedi, Kenyan shilling, Guinean franc…). The price is shown before purchase, all taxes included.
  • The buyer also pays a service fee of 2 % of the price. It is shown on the payment screen, with the total.
  • Payment is always made in CFA francs (XOF). A price set in another currency is converted when the order is placed, at the rate set by GoDigit and shown with its date. The Central African CFA franc and the euro have a fixed parity with the CFA franc.
  • GoDigit Plus is sold by GoDigit itself, with no service fee.

Payment

Payment is made by Mobile Money or bank card through Sonco Pay, our only payment provider. Access opens as soon as Sonco Pay confirms the payment. A receipt is available in "My payments".

A minor never pays themselves: the request goes to their parent, who pays from their parent space. The receipt goes to the parent, the access to the child.

Paid communities

  • A plan is paid once or every month. There is no automatic debit: a reminder arrives 3 days before the end of the period, then access stays open during a grace period set by GoDigit (7 days today) before it is removed.
  • A member can stop their plan at any time: access lasts until the end of the paid period. They can resume it later.
  • A free trial, if offered, can only be used once per member and per community.
  • The price of a plan never changes for those who have it: a new price creates a new plan.
  • A promo code reduces the first period, within the limits set by the creator (number of uses, end date).
  • Premium content included in a plan stays open as long as the membership is active. Content sold separately can have a member price, never higher than the public price.
  • A community can be reserved for adults: a minor cannot join it.

Paid ebooks

Each purchase allows a limited number of downloads. The file carries a personal watermark. Buying an ebook is reserved for adults.

What the creator receives

  • The creator receives the full price, converted into CFA francs. The service fee goes to GoDigit.
  • Their earnings can be withdrawn after a holding period set by GoDigit (7 days today). They withdraw them by Mobile Money, from a minimum amount (1,000 CFA francs today), after approval by our team. Sonco Pay's withdrawal fees are paid by the creator: they are deducted from the transfer and shown before the request.
  • Referral: a community creator can offer a member who brings in a paying member a percentage of the first paid period. This amount is taken from the creator's share and credited to the referrer's earnings, with the same holding period.
  • A minor does not sell anything and does not request withdrawals.
  • Orders placed before 26 October 2026 keep the terms of their date.

Refunds

A refund request is made to the creator or to our team, with the order reference. An approved refund goes through Sonco Pay, to the payment method used. The purchased access is then removed, the sale is taken back from the creator's earnings and any referral amount linked to that sale is cancelled.
